My story

I spent the first two decades of my career telling other people’s stories.

First, in newsrooms in St. Petersburg, Russia, where I honed my reporting chops and developed my journalistic integrity. Then, leading digital platforms for five national magazines in the U.S.—Yoga Journal, Clean Eating, Women’s Adventure, Vegetarian Times, and Live Naturally.

I’ve written for Outside, Everyday Health, Nike, REI, and dozens of wellness brands. I’ve interviewed hundreds of experts, written dozens of articles for print and digital, edited even more, and helped shape content that has reached millions of readers.

But here’s what I realized: readers don’t just want information. They want transformation. And transformation comes from learning from someone who’s walked the path, not from a journalist writing about it secondhand.

So I asked myself: what if I used my two decades of editorial skill to help the real experts, the practitioners doing the work, share their knowledge more effectively?
